December 2009

New York starts their new years eve with a mixture of snow and rain while we Seattleites scramble to find a roof over our heads because of the rain that is coming down upon us. However, I welcome new years with a grateful heart. 2009 has brought me tears and great joy whether it was new friends or letting old friends go. Now I can truly look forward to 2010 with an open mind and with my arms wide open. My resolutions are always the same just like my hair. 2010, I will be revamping my self-image thanks to a great friend in New York City who will be flying to Seattle to do a private consultation to redo my hair style, a stylist and friend will be helping me with my new wardrobe while the current closet will be donate or sold on eBay. (Superbetch does not have have any items in his/her wardrobe cheaper than $90). All sale proceeds my favorite charity, the Bellevue School Foundation. (I am looking for a photographer for hire).

I am looking forward to 2010, where a lot of things in my life will change. I am looking to rekindle & rebuild a failed relationship as well as welcoming new friends. My resolution continued, need to spend alone time-emotionally, physically, and spiritually… Which I’ll be doing while in Milan on March 25-30th, 2010.

To end this blabber, I want to personally thank all my readers! I am so thankful for the feedback! 2010 will have an entire new content thanks to you all!

I hope everyone has a safe & fabulous New Years!

“On December 7th, 2009 at 1:30pm GMT Starbucks invited musicians from all over the world to sing together at the same time to raise awareness for AIDS in Africa. In that one breathtaking moment, musicians from 156 countries played “All You Need is Love” together. Watch now, as musicians from all around the world come together and share a song.

Join in by lending your own voice to Watch streaming video from countries around the world and then join in by singing All You Need is Love yourself. For each video submitted, Starbucks will make a contribution to the Global Fund to help fight against AIDS in Africa. You can also help increase the Starbucks contribution to the Global Fund by submitting a drawing to the Love Gallery.

The global sing-along is part of our continuing efforts to help fight AIDS in Africa. In just one year in partnership with (RED)™, Starbucks has generated money equivalent to more than 7 million days of medicine to help those living with HIV in Africa.”

“I’d like to believe that the women who wear my clothes are not dressing for other people, that they’re wearing what they like and what suits them. It’s not a status thing.”
